About Skip

A guard at Western Canada High School, Skip played basketball for four years at the University of Calgary, getting conference all-star nods, before moving into the Dinos’ coaching ranks.

Years later, he thrived at the high school level, coaching basketball and football at Bowness, William Aberhart, Sir Winston Churchill, Henry Wise Wood. Skip was also a member of the Calgary Olympic Development Association’s board of directors.

Skip served as the 1982-83 president of the Calgary Booster Club, then was recognized as an Honoured Athletic Leader in 1990. He is considered an Honourary Life Director.
