About the Award

Coaches and staff select the school’s male and female athletes of the year, a recognition based on competitive impact, athletic skill, statistical excellence, and consistency. Yearly, too, Ambrose hands out the Mel Sylvester Leadership Award to one male and one female athlete who display outstanding Christian character and exemplary leadership skills.
