Founder, Promoter, and President of “Big 6” Hockey League from 1930-1960. Held executive positions with Alberta Amateur Hockey Association and because of dedication and service was honoured with a life time membership

Active in the promotion of the old Bowness Golf Club, served as an executive member of both the Calgary Amateur Golf Association and the Alberta Golf Association for over 28 years.

Spent years promoting the Calgary Press, Radio and TV athletic awards, precursor to the present Booster Club annual Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards.
