About Hayley

The Calgary Booster Club’s Female Athlete of the Year — earning 2008 Henry Viney Trophy — Hayley is widely regarded as one of the best-ever players in women’s hockey. She skated for the national team for 23 years, seven times winning the world championship.

In 2011, she was named an Officer of the Order of Canada.

As a Team Canada leader, Hayley is a five-time medallist at the Olympics. As a member of the women’s softball squad, she also competed in the 2000 Summer Games.

Hayley founded WickFest, an event celebrating girls’ and women’s hockey. She graduated from the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine in 2021.
